“There was a time when humans could breathe the shape of strawberries and the presence of children, when we could breathe lions and sweet tubers, when the whole effervescent world poured into our consciousness like music.”

Homespell

Homespell is an interdisciplinary project that invites us to consider humanity’s extractive relationship with the Earth, as well as all our addictive tendencies, as calcified grief in disguise.

This outdoor immersion is a crowd-sourced inquiry into the roots of consumption, where we are invited into the world of a more-than-human creature ruled by hungry ghosts.

Through dialogue with nature, spontaneous stories, songs, games, and grief council, we will follow our curiosity and sacred longing to co-create incantations of care for ourselves, each other, and our planet.
